INGRoup Conference
Thanks to all of the participants for a great conference in Washington, DC on July 22-24, 2010! It was the largest yet with over 200 participants! Since its inception, the INGRoup conference has attracted 410 unique attendees! Congratulations to this year's award winners! Join us next year at the INGRoup conference in Minneapolis, MN, July 21-23, 2011.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Congratulations to J. Richard Hackman for winning the Joseph E. McGrath Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Study of Groups! His influential research on groups and teams transcends time and disciplines like few others. Professor Hackman will talk about his research during a plenary session at the 2011 INGRoup conference in Minneapolis. Nominations for next year's award are due by April 30, 2011. INGRoup is a nonprofit 501(3)(c) corporation. The purpose for which this corporation is organized are to promote communication about group research across fields and nations, advance understanding about group dynamics through research, foster interest in group research among junior scholars, promote and support the next generations of group scholars, and develop a sense of community for those who study groups. The corporation shall exist and operate exclusively for charitable, educational, scientific, and literary purposes. Income tax returns are available upon request to Joann Keyton, Vice-Chair.
